I'm a casual fan of Star Wars and haven't read many novels, comics, or played all of the various video games, so I was wondering if anyone had the answers to these questions. 1. If Darth Vader sensed Luke in the force, why didn't he sense Leia when he encountered her in episode IV? 2. How come Leia remembers her mother but Luke doesn't? I'm not a fan, primarily cause I don't like to be involved so much in things as to be called a fan. I'm more a star wars guy, but I watched the star trek original series and cartoon when I was very little. Unfortunately, a lot of episodes were constantly repeated and I never got a good idea of a sequence of events. Later on I saw like 3 or 4 of the movies. Okay, I have read so many articles on people asking others if Star Wars 4, 5, and 6 would or should be made. I am a fan of the movie saga, however, look at all the movies and compare all the facts stated in both trilogies. A lot of information with both trilogies has not mixed well together. In fact, all 6 episodes basically have no real flow into leading events(maybe except from episode 3 to 4). So, basically what I am asking is, should there be any changes to the whole story so that all 6 episodes do have a flow into the storyline, along with some original history from the Star Wars saga? If so, what would they be and why? If not, why not? It seems like all of you think I'm asking if the original triology should be remade. I am not insisting on that thought. I am only saying out of all the movies of star wars that has ever been made, should there be any changes to any of the movies? And to answer the flow of the movie ordeal, It's more of how the details add up the story. For example, Leia and Luke were born after their mother died of giving birth, so how would they be able to remember their mother at birth? Yoda wasn't the master of Obi-wan in the first episode, yet Obi-wan said that in episode 6. Also, how did Jar Jar Binks ever get into the whole Star Wars Saga? 11- Pokemon: This series is the reason why anime became popular. It was so original at the time and so fresh that it stayed fresh for a long time. Unfortunately other monster anime like Digimon and YuGiOh came out and competition became tight that they ran out of ideas for good episodes. Pokemon is the original and the best so SCREW OTHER MONSTER ANIME! They's all wannabes!! 10- Outlaw Star: The coolest thing about this anime is that the characters are so unique and do not have any similarities to any other anime series. It totally stands out and has 9- Gundam Seed: The characters are forced to get involved in a war and it shows how they feel from that perspective. The politics is a simplified version of its predecessor Gundam Wing but the psychology aspect was explored a far deal greater. Not only that, the animation is AMAZING! It was MOVIE-QUALITY! Gundam 00 is supposed to be the 1st HD series but the colorings and character designs in Seed still look much better! 8- Captain Tsubasa: The first ever stylized sports anime. This series made football so popular that the Japanese Football Association or w/e actually sponsors the show. and addidas does too! This show is the original and the best so to hell with the copycats like Prince of Tennis and Eyeshield 21! Slam dunk gets credit for not following the same pattern but I'm not a basketball guy, im not against it tho. 7- Cowboy Bebop: An anime series that's a so western it out-westerns even 2days western movies and yet it's a space western. An anime with an English dub BETTER than the Japanese version. And themes so unconventional for tv broadcasting. Kick @$$ show! 6- Dragonball Z: An awsome action-packed anime which is the embodiment of manliness. Look at Goku's arms and Vegeta's leg muscles and they have huge chests! Makes any guy wanna work out and bulk up! And they're tough and actually look like men, more easy to watch than bishonens! 5- Fullmetal Alchemist: A great mix of fantasy with drama and interesting characters, this series does not feature the usual child protagonist stereotype. The lead characters are kids but they're mature and intelligent which makes it so different. 4- InuYasha: A fantasy fairy-tale that had a great mix of action, romance and comedy. I am usually against the idea of having action and romance mixed in BOTH as the MAIN theme in movies, but this worked in an anime because the series was VERY long so it had time to develop the romance without cutting away from the action like they always do in stupid modern action movies. 3- Transformers: This series was so amazing, giant robots that turned into cars and planes and are at war, holy crap! Unfortunately because the series was Japanese/American it didn't become as great as it could have been as a serious TF series until the original movie came along, HOLY CRAP! That movie has awesome animation by even 2days standards! And they made it so dark and killed off Optimus Prime....which of course made me cry but the realism of war was what made it memorable. Screw the live-action movie not only because it had Michael Bay and Megan Fox, but because it could not to an ANIMATED film. 2- Death Note: A fantastic series, Death Note has a mind stimulating story that just draws you into it like a black hole. One of the most well-constructed and believable supernatural series mixed with reality detective work. And despite the name it's not a wussy emo show. 1- Gundam Wing: This series is by far the most complex and well written anime series of all time. If you're into military and politics even if ur a non-anime fan, you HAVE to watch this. Wing, despite it being science fiction future story, the politics gets u thinking and u begin to understand politics better. 3- Transformers It could not COMPETE to the animated film* Dude, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Gundam Seed are seinen anime. And as for the shojo part....IM A GUY!! It's to be expected especially since im not gay there are only 3 mecha Who the hell cares if a Cowboy Bebop SPINOFF is a Shojo? It started out as a seinen anime after all. I've never watched star wars before until a few days ago, i always thought it would be boring but i made myself watched all 6 films in the space of 2 days to see what the big fuss was about and i was actually impressed. In THE CLONE WARS feature (on the second viewing on my home theatre which complemented the movie dramatically compared to the dull cinema image) i noticed Yoda mutters a little nugget, someone (Mace Windu?) comments offhand that accepting a new padawan will be dificult for Annie, Yoda replies with something like "yes but loosing her more difficult it will be" in an extremely forshadowing way. Now this moment basically made that movie a part of the saga for me, and if it means what i think it means (PLEASE(although she gets better halfway through the series)) Ashoka should be in for the fate Jar Jar never recieved, an onscreen death. Many people i know say "no" b/c he turned to the Sith/Dark Side BUT IMO he is b/c 1. Padme & Luke both believed there was still good in him. In Ep. 3 (ROTS) I think those are her dying words. In Episode 5 (ESB) Vader says to Luke "Don't make me destoy you" which implies he really doesn't want to kill his own son. Then in ROTJ (Ep. 6) when Luke tries to sway him from taking him to Palpatine he says "It's too late for me son" which might imply he couldn't return to his good ways if he wanted to since he had to obey Palpatine. 2. When Palpatine tries to kill Luke with his "ever so powerful" force lightening & Vader sees his son about to die: he kills Palpatine & knows that the explosion from the reactor shaft would kill him too. Hence once again IMO Anakin DID "fulfill" the prophecy since there were only ( & always 2 sith ) & they were both destroyed. Ok, I'm in love with the whole story line now that I have seen all the episodes.... My question is, Are there going to be more movies in the future? I heard on the internet that 4 thru 6 were the originals, and they made 1 thru 3 recently. Are they going to make 7 thru 9?? Very curious and have become a fan of Star Wars by HBO showing so many of the shows on TV... I love them, they have such a great story line and plot, plus the characters make you fall in love with them. 3 things make me wonder if Sidious just wasn't toying with Windu until Anakin arrived to jump over to the Dark Side... 1. He dispatched the other three Jedi who accompanied Mace pretty darn quickly, which would have given him more control over the fight with Mace and allowed him to prolong it until Anakin showed up. 2. I think Sidious was actually a changeling who could adapt his appearance from his normal ugly complexion to the one we know and love as Palpatine at will. Letting himself slip back into Mr. Ugly was his way of dramatizing the situation for Anakin... afterall, after suffering 32 Million watts of Dark Brand electricity, would he really be up to addressing the Senate the following day? 3. Assuming Mace's and Yoda's capabilities to be roughly equal, Sidious didn't have such a hard time kicking his little green friend's behind... suggesting Mace wasn't such a big challenge either. What do you think? And please, no Star Wars hate answers... I'm just an occasional fan. There's also the context of the storyline... on one hand, it definitely makes it tragic that Anakin showed up just in time to screw things up for the Jedi and that definitely makes you regret his decision all the more, knowing that Mace could have bested Palpatine. But there is still an element of tragedy perserved if it was a ploy and something else is added: Sidious's passion for finding the perfect apprentice is proven when he puts himself in harm's way just to push Anakin over the edge.
