Open Question: Why doesn't Qui Gon disappear when he dies?
Hello Star Wars fans. I have a question. In episode 1 when Qui Gon dies they burn him but when Yoda, Anakin, and Obi Wan they disappear and appear at the end of Return of the Jedi. im a complete star wars noob, i recently got interested in the story just alittle bit, but i was hoping to ask someone who is knowledgable in the star wars franchise... 1 - does darth sidious have a back story? like are most sithes former jedis just like darth vader and count doocu, except some that are personally trained like darth maul... does darth sidious have a past in some of the interquels? 2 - doesnt leia and solo have children, which one of them turns to the dark side? but i thought all the siths were killed in episode 6? 3 - does color really matter for the light sabers? or is it just preference? like the franchise tends to make the bad guys with red to show more dark characteristic or something? 4 - i know theres a book about star wars story between episode 5 and 6, but what was the main theme of that one? 5 - light sabers are from crystals, but where does the crystals originate from? does it have a specific quantity it needs, or is it just 1 chunk? like how does it work? 6 - the star wars story is complex... how can a dedicated jedi like anakin skywalker turn to the dark side so easily? does it have anything to do with a power influence or something involving the force? or was it just plain human psychology? 7 - how old is yoda? who trained him? was there any important story before the 2nd trilogy of episode 1,2, or 3? like how he built the temple? 8- whats the main difference between a jedi and sith disregarding alliance related descriptions but yet characteristics.... like their abilities or certain style of fighting... like the only difference i can point out is that the sith use that lightning thing... 9 - what is the madiclorian count? like anakin skywalker had excessive amount of it... is it generical form of like DNA? or is it something spiritual existance yet can pass down to their offsprings? 10 - how many stories of star wars are there? all i know is 7, which being episode 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 5.5 being the interquel.... moreResolved Question: What are all the Jedi and Siths in Star wars Episode 1 through 6?

Now I don't mean like one more episode to fill the 20 year gap between episodes III and IV. What I mean is that I feel Lucas should have made A New Hope be episode 5 and not episode 4. So that way Empire & Jedi would have been episodes 6 and 7. Therefore The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones would have still been episodes 1 and 2 but then Revenge of the Sith could have been an entirely different movie with a completely different title because Lucas would have had more time and one more movie to work with as he still would have had a blank episode 4. What I am trying to say is that I feel that Revenge of the Sith, although it was a great movie to finish out the saga, it just felt like it was too rushed. Like Lucas tried to hard to fit it all in. He did great with Phantom and Clones for we were able to tell that he took his time with the story and he crafted it very well. But Sith felt like George just ran out of time to fit a bigger story into a 2 and a half hour time slot. I think with Revenge of the Sith being different, we could have seen a better and more tactical look at the Clone Wars instead of the dumb cartoons that he had to make because he knew that cartoons was the only way to tell the Clone Wars side of the story. Then an empty episode 4 could have really set the mood for an even greater and nastier and darker story as to how the Jedi were all destroyed by Darth Vader, and maybe we could have possibly seen Vader in his PRIME kick some major booty and the great evilness that we never really got to see from him except in Empire Strikes Back. This way, we really wouldn't have to think about the 20 year gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope because we all know that this is the time slot that Vader is at his best. So, apparently Lucas stated that this movie will be released in May of 2021. The sith has been destroyed, but there are still dark jedi (dark users of the force who aren't sith lords). If they ever make a star wars battlefront 3 what kind of things would you like it to have? I think that the game should have squads like you have your own group following you around and fighting. I think they should make 1st person view in vehicles and star fighters. They should also make more planets to fight in and have destructible environment, like in battlefront 1 & 2 only some objects were destructible so if you hit a wall or a building nothing would happen so in a new game they should make anything and everything destructible. They should also have a lot more playable heroes and villains and have Jedi vs Sith assault in more places than just Mos Eisley. Also the battle areas should be bigger and also have more story modes and stuff that happened after episode 6. I have tried watching these time and time again just to understand it. Only thing i didnt like was Jar Jar Binks. But of course you could compare the gun guns to.. the ewoks of Return of the Jedi. People say the talking in 1-3 was "Rushed" or "forced" sorry but that makes no sense. Tell me one movie the chat sounds perfect. the story lines were right along the lines of a story Lucas created before most of us were alive. In fact he wrote a book in the early 70's that he would later break up into chaperts and then episodes. in fact there might have been as many as 12 chapters in it. People like to say he could never do a 7-9 but yet if you knew Star Wars, you'd know there's plenty of Post ROTJ story to go. I love star wars, but I enjoy the newer ones a lot more then the older ones. Everytime I watch episodes 1-6 in order, once I get to episode 4 and on, it just feels weird. I mean I don't find it as interesting as 1-3 because less action and I hate the fact that Luke is like the only Jedi knight. All they do is fly and shoot and the lightsaber duels seem so fake. Im a huge Star Wars geek so feel free to get crazy or technical. Mine is in Empire when the Millenium Falcon does a U-turn to get Luke hanging upside down in Cloud City. Flips upside down over a cloud and then barrel rolls to flatten out. Dont know why but when I saw that as a kid I thought that was the coolest thing ever!! Prequel for me is in Episode 1 (dont laugh) when Obi-Won comes out of those energy shields and unleashes like a 25 hit combo on Darth Maul. All 1 scene, no camera cuts, with no music or dialogue. I don't know about you guys but I say episodes 1,2, & 3 were the best 100%. They had real action and actually had great fight scenes. The lightsabor duels were way better. In episodes 4-6 everything just seemed so fake. I mean Luke was the only Jedi and he sucked. The lightsabors were too thin and all they did was swung them back and forth when they fought. In episodes 1-3, they flip and everything. Everything looks so much better. I also think that with the Jedi gone in 4-6, everything was mostly flying and shooting. But I also don't understand something, episode 6 is called return of the Jedi, but Luke is the only Jedi so how do they return. All in all I like episodes 1-3 WAYYYYYYYY better the 4-6. Waquey, you misunderstood my question for number two. I know what happened IN episodes 3 and 4.. I want to know what happened BETWEEN them. And Obi-wan and Yoda failed their missions. Yoda failed to kill the Empiror, but Obi-wan didn't even KNOW he had failed... He figured Anakin would just die in the lava so he thought he completed his mission. It seems like that would mean that Yoda and Obi-wan would go to find the empiror and try again instead of just giving up... and in regards to my first question, Qui-gon is a more vital character than most people realize. In fact, he is the most imporant character to the saga (other than Anakin himself), and given the least time...because you see, he was responsible for finding Anakin, and Anakin eventually was the one who brought balance to the Force. Qui-gon was resonsible for Anakin's training because he made Obi-wan promise to train him. You could say that the entire plot wouldn't exist without Qui-gon, since Qui-gon found Anakin. Lynx, if that were true, then Lucus couldn't have only made six movies and made them make sense without the rest of the universe. They only answered *some* questions as well. You don't have to know about the whole Star Wars universe and read it ALL just to understand what I'm asking. You CAN answer specific questions...for example... if I asked if Luke had any siblings...the answer would be, "Yes, Leia" and you wouldn't have to explain all the detail of how that came to be and who had them and what not. Like many fans, I think they shouldn't make any more Star Wars movies, especially since episodes 1, 2 and 3 were so disappointing. But if they decided to make a movie of "Shadows Of The Empire" (the popular novel that took place between Empire and Jedi), do you think this would be a good idea for the movie? It could be completely computer generated, using the same graphics and technology used in the movie "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within." All the characters would be modeled after the way the characters appeared in the original trilogy. All the original cast could come back to do voice-over work. In the 1st 3 episodes I was confused a little bit. I want to know all the references the characters in the movies say about the good people (Jedi) and the bad people (sith). LIke Trade Federation and Stuff like that. I would also like to know like the levels of their "government" like the council of Jedi and then like Chancellor and Queen and all that. In the 1st episode to the 2nd Padame become queen? Am i right or not? In episode 3 the Sith lord was the good side chancellor (right?) and what made him control all the clones?
