North Shore Lake Tahoe Questions and Answers

Resolved Question: Which is more fun for the summer time, north shore lake tahoe or south shore?

I'm planning a trip to Lake Tahoe in California. I don't go there often, but I know certain people do! If you're one of those people, please write your opinions on which "side" is better for the summer time (if any) to do things like: fishing, renting a boat, jet skiing, hanging out on the beach, fairly inexpensive resorts (or the cheapest one). My family and I would like to stay at a resort there as well, the cheapest one possible. Thank you all!  more

Resolved Question: Pls help me.. my teacher told me " This is a narrative" pls help me how to change to " a classification".thx

Lake Tahoe is known for the clarity of water and the panorama of surrounding mountains on all sides. My friends and I had a very wonderful stay and experience at Lake Tahoe last summer. I had the chance to go there due to an invitation of a friend whose family owns a condominium facing the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. We arrived around ten o'clock in the morning with our eyes gazing the scenic view of the famous Lake Tahoe. During the summer, Lake Tahoe is popular for water sports and beach activities. There are many restaurants, ski slopes and casinos catering the visitors. We toured the whole area of the lake from south to north Lake Tahoe for more than 2 hours including sight seeing and picture taking. Boating was indeed known worldwide as the primary activity in Tahoe in the summer because there are all sort of boating activities. We also witness a sail boat racing competition participated by mostly local people and some from other far places. I suggested my friends that we should go for a guided cruise around the lake because it was affordable and it's worth it. While on board, I saw some overlooking mountains covered with dazzling snow. I felt the comforting fresh cold air of the lake entering my whole body. It was a wonderful vacation.  more
