Medical Catalogue Questions and Answers
Resolved Question: The goal of the Human Genome Project was to?
A.map the location of all human genes on the chromosomes and read the coded instructions in the genes. B.cure every known genetic disorder of the human genome. C.catalogue and file the genome of every person for medical purposes and for identification. D.improve the existing human genome so that humans can live longer, healthier lives. moreResolved Question: OUR PRISONS: Are they tough enough?
When someone goes to prison they can expect 6 visits a month from loved ones, unlimited cash to be sent in, earn a wage from working within the prison, have up to 10 numbers on a phonecard to phone people outside daily. They have a kettle in their cell to make a cuppa when they wish, can shop from the Argos catalogue to make their room cosy, duvet, curtains, rugs, towels etc. They each have a tv and can get dvds to watch. Theres a nice plasma tv in the association rooms, with pool tables, football and rugby teams to join. They get free board and menus to choose their meals from. Then theres the Christmas menu with choices of turkey, steak etc with all the trimmings. They are issued with new clothes and can be sent in the latest trainers, football boots etc. Their rooms are nicely heated this winter when many who have done no wrong cannot afford to keep warm this winter. Its no wonder the stastistics for those returning are very high. They have access to lawyers and the best medical care. Is this REALLY punishment?? What should be done to make it harder and for the crime rates to drop by making people afraid to go to prison? moreResolved Question: where can I buy a curved surgical needle?
you know those ones that doctors use to stich ppl up - no I will not be doing that to myself. I am a student and have a part time job at a museum. I do archival work - at the moment I sew catalogue numbers on to dolls and its hard using a straight sewing needle. I cant seem to find a medical supply store online that sells them. suggestions? moreResolved Question: Help needed! Dogs gone mad!?
Need urgent help or i'm not gonna have a home left. (Seriously) I've got a 9 and a half yr old lab girl and my partners got a 7 month old lab boy. Radley (lab boy) has been the most perfect pup ever. He became house trained quickly, is very obedient, never chewed, never sprayed, and is so good we let off on the beach and in the park. We decided to get Radley done as Libby (lab girl) isn't. The week we had him booked in Libby came into season. Which was lucky! Anyway that was last Thursday, and since then Radley has done a complete turn around. He pees on the conservatory carpet every time i leave the house even though i leave the conservatory door open for him to go out. (We have an enclosed garden so this is ok.) He pees right by the door. And he has also started chewing. He has destroyed two leather cushions, the matching sofa and an argos catalogue. I come from a home who breeds Labs but even i don't know what to do here. If i lock him in garden he'll do his nut and annoy the neighbours with his barking and crying to get in. And i don't want to chuck my Libby out cos she is nearly ten and has a few medical conditions. She's always had the comfort of the sofa and her pillow indoors and she would think she was being punished if i put them out with a kennel. I have no spare money for a dog sitter and neither does my partner, we have only just moved to the area so don't know anyone apart from who we work with. And my family don't live near enough to check in on him. And the neighbours are elderly so can't ask them either. I have a part time job so i have to leave the house for a few hours. I'm at my wits end with what to do with him. I actually come home and cried about it today. He was so good, what's happened? I asked the vet and he didn't seem to know what to say. Having the chop was meant to calm him down but instead it's done the opposite. Any tips on how to stop him peeing? He always does it in the same place. And his chewing? He has over 20 assorted toys spread around and bones to chew on. I would never get rid of either of them. And i can't have Libby done cos she is too old now. Where do i put the crate? Thank you for your answers. I'm not stupid mamab i know labs chew, its just he didn't before and wondered why he started. And no we cant put him or her anywhere else. They are our dogs and getting rid of one of them even temporarily is not solving the situation. She'd be lost with out him and he'd be lost with out her. I'm not going to put either of them through that sort of stress. moreResolved Question: What line of credit should I try to get with bad credit?
Years ago, my credit report had a small variety of bad items I had foolishly defaulted on. Among them a utility bill, an ambulance bill, a small credit card bill (I thought I had paid, but) & various other medical bills. (9 items total) I have nearly all of them paid off except the ambulance bill and 1 other (they refuse to set up payments, and so I made them last). Anyway, by this time next year everyone will be paid off. I have taken a small part time job and spend at least half of each check paying off these items. Although my credit report still needs some work, I am feeling ready (and much more responsible) to begin re-establishing credit. I don't really want to apply anywhere and everywhere and I know that that isn't very good for my credit either... Can anyone reccomend a particular credit card (even the catalogue kind) that reports to credit bureaus and isn't a major ripoff? Oh, I also need a chance of actually getting approved for it. Thanks! moreVoting Question: Is it right that my neighbour can listen into my flat?
I live alone, and have done for a few years, which i quite like but my neighbour and her husband, who both live above in the attic apartment, have been really noisy, and have taken mail, and over the last 6 months she (mostly) has been constantly listening in on private conversations, when freinds have called around, or wen ever i am on the phone. I didnt realise this until third parties were informing me that she had given information and relaying private conversations that i have had...which i thought was in the privacy of my own home. But i dont think she knows that behaivour like that, and such behaivour as taking mail, and catalogues, and know im in a position where she is determined to try and wind me up, in hope i do something unlawful toward her. Ive never lifted a finger against anyone in my life, and i wish to keep it that way. And due to the fact i suffer with mental health and unfortunately through medical negligence now in a wheelchair. What do i do? Thanks for all your suggestions. My mental health has no part in this problem, rather the fact that i felt relevent to include it as to the motives of my neighbours behaivour as a classic case of stigma based ignorance. And the irony of myself living with mental health, and managing very well, and im in the REAL world, and my neighbour obviously in LALA Land! lol.. and in the Attic of all places!..And most of the films and stories i know with an attic involved, is either horror, or used often long ago to hide away people such as me..As for the few answers which involved taking violent steps. I dont really need such negative input. moreResolved Question: Have you ever been mistreated by a memeber of the medical professon? What happened? Are you ok now?
I've had so many medical "mishaps" since I moved to FL. I swear the Dr.s here (and I use that term very lightly....I should say Vets or Butchers, but I wouldn't want to give them that much credit,) are the worlds biggest idiots. I wonder if they got their licence to practice out of the Sears Catalogue!! These are a few of the "mishaps": I was molested by an ob/gyn I was given an RX that I was deathly allergic to, then yelled at after I called the Dr to tell him what the pharmacy said...telling me that he NEVER makes mistakes like that I went to another ob/gyn after I was molested and he agreed that I was pretty torn up inside, but said he'd never admit that and get another dr in trouble My daughter had her wisdom teeth out and the Dr refused to give her antibiotics (she ended up with a wicked infection that she had to be hospitalized for,) but wrote me RX's for Demerol and Vicodin w/no problem I was sent to a hand Dr for a back problem I'm just wondering if I just simply have the worst luck in the world when it comes to Dr's or if this actually happens to other people to, or if this is an isolated incident for Florida. I have many other "horror" stories, including being given the drug Versed...which affected me with PTSD and 20 years of permant memory loss. I'll leave it at this for now. (Gosh, I need to write a book.....but who would belive it??) moreResolved Question: Do you agree with (the norm) who answered my?
moreResolved Question: Raising money for charity?
Are you committed to raising money for the disadvantaged? I have decided to raffle myself off to the highest bidder in what I am calling "Win an Ultimate Night of Pleasure with K-MAC". People can send in their bids via email. A bit about myself - I am a young single man, currently unemployed and living in my parents basement, who enjoys collecting lingerie catalogues and having sexual relations with women. All bidders must be female, aged 18-74 and have a medical certificate clearing them of all major venereal diseases. Good luck and happy bidding! moreResolved Question: Healing Prayers.... But will it really help?
Prayer relaxes us as we invite God into our situation. Prayer reduces stress as we share our burdeds with God. The scientific community now adds intriguing evidence of the power of prayer. After studying the effects of prayer and meditation on patients for more than 30 years, Dr Herbert Benson of Harvard Medical School calls prayer and meditation " profound medicine." Spiritual people have long believed in the healing power of prayer and meditation. We have the power from within through prayers. But will it really help? Perhaps you're uneasy about praying for healing for fear it won't work. Prayer always works! It's sometimes God surprises us with the way prayer works. Prayer isn't a catalogue where we select, order, then wait for delivery. It is God's mystical way of changing us through good times and through suffering, God's way of uniting us with that divine part of us-our souls. Spiritual healing continues as we seek forgiveness for whatever separates us from God. God Bless moreMedical Catalogue News
