I met a great guy I went on a few dates with and broke up with due to lack of chemistry. He treated me like a princess though, was a great listener, very supportive and he owns his own realestate agency so he is quite successful. The thought of sleeping with him was a bit of a turn off but we had a talk where i told him some things that were going on in my life and he was so nice about it. I told him i was really depressed and he said he would meet me for coffee every night after work if it was going to mean i wouldnt harm myself. I felt like i could totally trust him. Not 100% attracted to him which is why i broke it off but he thinks i'm great. Should i tell him how i feel or ask for another chance? Haha 'I hate fish but i will eat fish for dinner forever' I do meet guys I'm physically attracted to but they don't treat me half as well. I feel safe with him and i really trust him - and its hard to find that more

Resolved Question: Would a prenup protect my financial interest from his debtors?

I found out my fiance owes back taxes in two cities and school taxes in the one city we live in. He also has 4 credit card agencies suing him. In our state, Ohio, I found out that by getting married he will automatically own 1/2 of my house. In the paperwork he rec'd this week about the back tax it said they have the right to put his personal property up for sale or forclose on his realestate property! Would this include MY property bought 3 years before our wedding vows? Our wedding date is scheduled for April 4, 2009. Any one know how his bad debts will affect MY savings, checking and personal property? I did NOT put his name on any of my accounts. He has his own savings and checking. I'm working on the sale of one of my houses and don't want his debtors taking MY profit! What to do? Mine and His for a reason, his can all be frozen at any time...he's being sued. I have 4 kids I'm singlely raising on $8,000 a year. He makes over$50,000 a year and refuses to pay his debtors. I haven't the money to pay his debts. I have debts to be paid of my own but they are current. The profit of my own house will be used to cover the cost of repair to the home I live in. We need 3 more bedrooms to accomodate his 3 kids whom all live with his x. (14, 17 & 19) My kids are 6, 8, 15, 17 and 21. My oldest lives far away stationed in the USAF. He has money to pay his debts, he just won't. So he will be sued, have his accounts frozen, attached wages, etc. I will not let his financial blunders ruin me and take away all I've worked very hard to attain. I have 4 kids to think about. Resolved Question: Legal advice about Servicemembers' Civil Rights Agreement violation by realestate agency?

A property management company violated a policy which states that as a member of the armed forces, I am eligible to break my lease without the associated fees or rent payment (following a few constraints) due to a military move. The property management service is now refusing to talk to me and blows me off even though they've admitted I am right. They owe me money and are not paying, I believe possibly because I'm deploying in 3 weeks and they know I'm constrained on time. What can I do to stop them from blowing me off and resolve this situation as I have a wife I'm trying to take care of and get my loose ends tied up before I leave? Yeah, I'm already aware of the constraints to the SCRA (section 200) and have already paid the 2 months (and it depends on when during the month you give your notice). However, because I was unaware of it at the time, I ended up paying an additional 2 months, and on top of that, they still charged me for advertising and break lease fees. Currently, they won't pay me back any of that money that I overpaid. As mentioned previously, they are aware I'm right in this issue. more

How would i ensure that the client's expectations of the agency, the market and the property are realistic. For example- The market value may be $300,000 however the client is under the impression that the property is worth $350,000. How would i deal with this situation ?? Resolved Question: Debt Solutions?

I have a gredit score of 723-740 depending on the reporting agency. I have never had a late payment but carry 100k+ in Credit Card debt. With the slowing economy and realestate slump, my income level has really dropped. Starting next month I will have a $1700 monthly shortfall for my minimum credit card payments. My payments total $10,000 a month and I can afford $8300. I've read that debt reduction companies will destroy my credit, and with the real estate slump, debt consolidation loans are not possible. Anyone have a solution that can help me maintain my good credit rating? My business has been flipping homes. My credit card debt comes from buying appliances, cabinets, flooring etc. for the homes I buy. Because of the real estate slow down, I am forced to rent a number of homes that I had hoped to sell outright. This is the reason for my monthly shortfall. Also because these homes aren't my primary residence, a 2nd mortgage (debt consolidation loan) is not possible. more

agent ref me to a loan broker his father, I live in cali &HE removed contigencies knowing we didn't have a loan (We didnt know this). we had to put 5% down for loan, Then our loan guys calls us 10 days before close asking us for 3% more & with an outrages APR or else I'll lose my 10k in escrow. We had to leave work and try to get another loan from Bof A which we got with out anymore money other than the 5% we may not close in time & will be fined by the seller. my agent (was a friend) knows that my son was diagnosed w/? i have been unfront with them from begining to end i told them everything my credit & financial situation and they both said no problem. Before I placed a bid we asked our agent only place it if we are confrimed with the loan becuase we have no money to put down and the little that we do we need it to make the renovations the house needs. I want to fire agent can i (no buyers agency) he told us not to worry that he promises that the money we put down we will get back i live in L.A i never had a loan and my agent new this but we never knew this everytime I emailed agent to get status he never respnded he would however call from time to time but never with any answers we told him not to remove cont. until he was certain we had loan. we have put up 10k earnest &22k loan (sorry confusing but i dont hve much characters 2 wrk w/) his broker said we are fine since we managed to get another loan from BofA. Contract stated that we needed 20k down, when we seen this we advise our agent to pull since we did not have that money and the money that we did have was to make repairs that it desprately needs, we told him if we have to put more than the 10k earnest money we put down then we dont want to continue he said not to worry that he promise that his father (loan brker) will use a portion of the loan as the 20k , as you can see he couldnt even get us a loan. This house needs wrk my son needs surgery&cant recoop in this house we want to walk & 4get the 10k more

Resolved Question: realty agency discriminates against discount brokers, legal action?

A local realestate agency does not list any MLS listing on her site the PRMOTES ALL MLS listings that are listed by dicount brokerages. She is by far the biggest agency in my area, accounting for nearly half of all home sale listings. Some refer to it as a monopoly. Since she promotes that her search engine on her site pulls up all MLS listings, could some one not seek a liability case? I know it is against the law for realtors to intentionally bypass FSBO listings, or dicounted brokerage listings. What is amazing is 95% of these sellers she bypasses in her system ARE OFFERING 3% to a selling agent. The other few are offering 2.5%. I'm one of those excluded, despite being in the MLS and offering a commission. I had my brother call her agency about my home, they told him "it is not something you would be interested in, trust me!" They have never even seen it! Do I have a case? more
