Open Question: Why doesn't my web browsers connect to the internet?

Ok so my browsers randomly just wont work anymore on my computer and I need to find out how to fix this. IE, Firefox, and Safari wont connect. Also, my yahoo messenger won't connect but my myspace IM and MSN messenger will. My internet does work, my other computer is working fine. OK i have found a solution for this but only the error doesn't show. My desktop and everything i try to open or do is freezing up and extremely slow. I try to run in safe mode and no problems at all. Alright, when I turn my computer on, before I can do anything else two error messages pop up. The first one says "Rundll has caused an error in MSSYSTEM.dll. Rundll will now close." When we start the laptop, one small windows says that RUNDLL: Error loading C://WINDOWS/system32/autochk.dll. The special module cannot be found. Also, We use Firefox when sometimes out of nowhere, one Window's Explorer pops up. Those are the only problems that we are experiencing but whenever I run Kaspersky, it always finds the Win32 Trojan virus and I always have to quarantine it, always. There are so, SO many things wrong with this stupid thing. First of all, it always has the RUNDLL problem thing pop up, and it says: Error in setupapi.dll Missing entry :s That's one of the worst problems on it. It won't let me do ANYTHING in control panel such as System Restore or Add or Remove Programs and I can't even go onto System Settings. So that's the second most important problem. I don't have the system restore disk, either, but what I'm realizing I'm going to have to do is just wipe my system clean. I got this computer from someone else, so I don't have the microsoft software or that disk. The worst problem with the computer is that recently its just been shutting off by itself unless I put it in safe mode, which I always have to do. When I don't, a blue message comes up and I don't know exactly what it says because it disappears before I can read it and then the computer just restarts itself. I hope my computer isn't a lost cause because I really can't buy a new one. So, any geniuses want to help? more

I heard that if you download an antivirus program and another antivirus program while the old anitvirus program is still installed, your computer would be all messed up and glitchy. Resolved Question: How do I get rid of a recurring file in MSCONFIG under Windows XP?

I have a workstation at our office that has a file executing upon start up. The file shows up in MSCONFIG under the Start Up tab. The file runs directly under C:\Windows. The name of the file is always the same; Asoguzageyabequy.dat. Once the computer is up and running, the file disappears from the C:\Windows folder. I have disabled the line within MSCONFIG only to have it reappear. This system is not only protected the Corporate Edition of Symantec Antivirus (kept up to day on a daily basis) but also a resident version (latest) of Spybot is running in the background. Once the system is up and running, it report about every 2 minutes a RUNDLL Error because it cannot find this file in the C:\Windows folder. I have shown all hidden and system files in this folder and I cannot find it. I feel that it may be a worm but I have nothing to identify it; hence, I cannot research it online to either find removal instructions or a removal tool. I am left clueless on this event. Can anyone offer any ideas? more

A few days ago, my AVG scan detected a trojan in one of my files. According to my computer, the trojan wouldn't delete because it was opened in another program. I restarted my computer, hoping that would solve the problem. Now, I find that this Rundll error message keeps popping up every time I log in. It says something about not being able to open msiclass.dll and "Access denied". I figured this had to do with the trojan. I searched for msiclass.dll in my computer, found it, and deleted it from my computer. However, I still receive the same message, except now instead of it saying "access denied", it says something among the lines of "specified folder could not be found". I searched the web and discovered people with similar problems. Unfortunately for me, none of the solutions that had worked for them worked for me. (For example, I couldn't fix my problem with Autoruns because I couldn't even find the msiclass.dll file using it; I think I deleted some wrong files too, because I thought it was associated with the dll. Clearing (what I could) of my Temp files didn't work either. Registry Easy was NO help at all.) Also, in my Add/Remove programs feature in the control panel, nothing shows up in the list except for the name of the programs. There's none of the details that used to be there. I think this might have happened when I deleted the wrong files. (I deleted most of the things with the words msi in it, which I know now wasn't a very good idea.) Can I get that part back to normal? It's probably not a big deal, but it is driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and this happened on my Gateway laptop by the way. more

About every minute, a little window pops up named RUNDLL saying: "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\Swolomucetuhes.dat The specified module could not be found." And then an "OK" button below it. So over night it gives me like a buzzillion of these windows/errors. I have no idea what they are about.
