Open Question: Why isn't bluetooth working on my Sony Ericsson K800i?

I've got a Sony Ericsson K800i and it isn't that old. It DOES have a bluetooth function and it worked for a few months but thereafter, when I wanted a friend of mine to send me some stuff, I turned on my bluetooth and yet my phone name didn't appear on his list of bluetooth devices. My visibility is also turned on and when I want to send people stuff, no devices show up on my list. It'd be great if someone can tell me how I can fix it. more

I know I asked this question before already, but I didn't get any answers (one really dumb answer) so I decided to try again. I have a manga called Grim: as life goes.... It's about a 14-year-old named Kilaita Toranami who becomes the Grim Reaper. He, Akira Tashi (best friend who studies spell of all types) Shimishi Zama (Kilaita's technical brother) and Jonathan "JoJo" Zora (other best friend) are at school one day and Kilaita finds out that JoJo and Shimishi have been sent to the principal's office for many pranks. Kilaita talks the principal out of suspending them by having all of them wash his car. After they are done washing his car later in the day, Akira and JoJo go home. While Shimishi and Kilaita are walking home, a car crash happens. A truck swerves off the road and almost hits Kilaita. Shimishi pushes Kilaita out of the way and is hit by the truck. The truck slams him into the tree, almost killing him. The Grim Reaper then appears at the sight of the wreckage and is about to take the soul of Shimishi. Kilaita doesn't want the Grim Reaper to kill Shimishi, so he fights him. Later into the fight, Kilaita grabs the scythe of the Grim Reaper and slices the Grim Reaper with it. After "killing" the Grim Reaper, Kilaita and Shimishi are sent to heaven to talk with God. God says even though they got in the way with his workings, he understood how he did it for the love (no homo)for his brother, so he gives Shimishi a second chance at life, Akira and JoJo immortality, on one condition. Kilaita has to be the new Grim Reaper. Kilaita is given the cloak, scythe and powers of the Grim Reaper and takes on the responsibility. Two years later, Kilaita starts witnessing strange things. People are constantly in danger. He finds out that not only is there is an evil force trying to kill Kilaita for his powers, but the original Grim Reaper is coming back (in non-skeletal form) to take his powers back. I haven't really came up with that much of a plot for the sequel, but I'm working on it. The name Grim: as life goes.... is going to be a keeper, but I need a name for the sequel. more

I've recently learned HTML and CSS, and I'm working on learning JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Eventually, I'm planning on creating my own website, but before I do I had some questions regarding hosting and where the HTML files will go. First of all, if I purchase a domain name through GoDaddy.com and I get hosting along with it, how can I upload the HTML, CSS, PHP, media, etc files onto their server so that it would appear on the web? If I find a better hosting solution than GoDaddy, how do I transfer to that hosting service, and why do I have to renew my domain every two years or whatever? Second, how do I make it so that when people go to http://www.mydomain.com/ they are shown the main page of my website without seeing a URL like http://www.mydomain.com/mainpage.html? Third, if I plan on creating a mobile version of my site or a different language version of it, how do I set it up so that visitors will go to something like http://m.mydomain.com/ or http://es.mydomain.com/? I'm not asking how to redirect them to that site, just how to actually create that version of the site. Thanks in advance for any help. more

Open Question: Molinet painting of woman with what appears to be a violin or guitar?

I recently purchased a painting of a woman who has dark, tie-back hair. She is wearing a black, lacy dress that appears to be one sleeved. She has her left hand to her chest and she is holding what appears to be a violin to her chest in the other. The name "Molinet" is signed in the bottom right corner. This painting appears very old. The canvas is stapled to the frame of the interior (there is no actual frame), I think it is canvas and possibly oil paint, and it appears to be an original although I could be wrong. Does anyone know anything about this artist or this particular painting, or where I could get some direct info about either of them? Open Question: malwarebytes anti-malware?

I downloaded this to get rid of a fake protection. I finally installed it and I tried to run it, but it won't open. I checked my task manager and checked processes and it appears there for a few seconds and then disappears. I tried going to safe mode and tried to run it, but it still won't run. I don't think it would work, but I also changed the name of it on my screen in case the malware detected it or something... But that also didn't work. What can I do to open that file? Also, maybe I'm not doing it right on safe mode. I have a lot of icons on my desktop, so I can't even see the malware icon. I tried to make the icons smaller, but it didn't work. So instead I just found the malware file and tried clicking everything in it. So, which one am I supposed to click 'cause there's like 10 icons in the malware folder. more

The div is in the Wordpress loop, so it appears at the bottom of each post. This means it is at the bottom of the page, so I'm using last-child to make that one hidden. I keep getting this message on start-up of my laptop.? error msg 1- "windows cannot find C:\windows\svchost.exe',make sure you typed the name correctly and try again". error msg 2-""could not load or run C:\windows\svchost.exe' specified in the registry.make sure the file exists or remove the reference to it in the registry"" I keep getting these 2 error message whenever i start up my laptop that runs on windows xp home edition.its quite irritating and delays my start up,until i close the messages. any idea what it means??? help pls. I have run my antivirus software (avast) & it recently removed viruses. I have windows xp home edition. This problem started to appear after I followed steps to stop my com bringing up my documents at startup. It was in the redigit area. A couple days later, someone knocked on his door, it was a young and skinny looking girl. Her name was Jynx. She said that someone set up an appointment. Kilado ran to the door. He brought the note. He asked her to read it to him, she said yes. She looked at it and started reading it. “Long ago, the ancients of sword haven fought a mysterious enemy called the deathbite and his agents of destruction, the deathanater. The warriors could only defeat the deathbite was when they launched deathbite with its greatest weakness, LIGHT! Then, gods of Swordhaven feared that this enemy would come back. They hid an all-powerful blade that could destroy the deathbite. This “Meda-Blade" was hidden so only the chosen one may find it. The gods sent their strongest 4 warriors out to guard it. It is said that this cryptic riddle un-locks it's location," It is hidden beneath the leaves of fire”. The Deathbite is back!” Kilado thought that he was the chosen one. He held Jynx down to the cliff. “Bye, little girl”. Kilado and Jak ran as fast as they could to save Jynx. Right before Jak and Kilado made it, hweeeooof. Jynx was flying down the cliff. Open Question: world of warcraft voice chat problem?

ok, so whenever i try to use voice chat in world of warcraft it does not work. I have voice chat enabled, I have the mic set to party, I have the mic volume all the way up. I tried the push to talk it does not work and i tried the voice activated and it does not work. I would get in a group and test it out with my friends and they cannot hear my voice, but when i go to test it on the voice chat menu thing it picks up my voice perfect and i can play it back and hear myself. Also when i try to talk the mic icon is by my pic and when i start to talk the thing pops up saying i'm talking with the mic icon but my name dosen't appear my other character's name does??? I tried to log onto my computer it gave an error message stating it couldn't log onto the local profile because either some security files were missing or there was a corrupt local profile, so I pressed ok and another error message appeared stating it couldn't locate the local profile. So it logs me onto a "temporary profile" every time. I have heard you type in a certain thing under My Documents with your user name in it which shows you all your documents, but I can't seem to remember my user name. How do I find it? Open Question: "Call No Man Father" - [What Do You Say Catholics?]?

What do you think Catholics? (Read Below...) Recently I have seen so much Catholic bashing at YA! and in my everyday life. What is more interesting is that most of this comes from Protestant Christians, who at the same time say that they believe in Christ’ teachings and that the Bible is the only authority for teaching and foundation for our faith. So, here is an official challenge to all the Protestant Christians out there… Please identify one verse in the Bible, which it clearly states that the Bible should be the only authority by which we Christians should be teaching from. --- Just one example… please… In addition, I’d like to also address a notable Christian arguments against the Catholic Church. Protestants commonly argue the following: ---Call No Man Father--- Matt 23:9 - "Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.” This argument is very good, and is pulled directly out of Scripture. So, first off, congratulations Protestant Christians, for using your Bibles. I actually have a good deal of respect for you for doing so. I will give you this… all Catholics should follow in suit and use their Bible more frequently as well, as this could only strengthen our faith. In fact, Catholics Christians, much like yourselves, believe in the inerrancy of the Bible, and we know that Sacred Scripture cannot, I repeat, cannot contradict itself. --- After all this is what you guys believe too, right? Okay, at least we have some common ground here. As such, we too believe in the verse as well, in what is says and what it means. Now, back to my point. If our premise is that Sacred Scripture cannot contradict itself, then any contradiction that is said to be found simply means that one of the two has been taken out of context, right? In line with this thought, we as Christians, cannot and should not, take one single verse of Scripture out of context, lift it out of context, absolutize it, to the detriment or to contradict other verses of Scripture. Correct? If so, then we are only proving the Athiests right that Sacred Scripture is not truly the Word of GOD, as GOD would not have contradicted Himself. However, it’s a good thing that we can both agree that this is not that case, because we KNOW that Sacred Scripture is the inspired works of GOD and does not, I repeat, does not contradict itself, right? --- Okay, at least we can agree on this point as well. So… if this is the case, which we KNOW is true… Scripture IS the INSPIRED works of GOD, and GOD DOES NOT contradict himself, unless you are saying that HE makes mistakes…. (Which we KNOW he doesn’t…) Now… Please open up your Bibles and turn to: 1)Eph 6:1-2 – “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. HONOR YOUR FATHER and mother 2)Luke 16:24 – “And he cried out and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.” 3)Romans 4:1-18 – [St. Paul refers to Abraham as Father Abraham, 7 times…] 4)Acts 7:1-2 – “The high priest said, "Are these things so?" And he said, "Hear me, brethren and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,” 5)James 2:21 – “Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?” 6)1 John 2:13 – “I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one I have written to you, children, because you know the Father. 7)1 Cor 4:14-15 – “I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. 8)Eph 3:14-15 – “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name” So as you can see throughout the Bible, men are called “father” and spiritual leaders are called “father” as well. Does GOD make mistakes? NO… so this should simply shows you that one of the primary arguments of Protestant Christians against the Catholic Church, Matt 23:9, is in contradiction to other parts of the Bible… which as Christians we know cannot happen. So does this mean that GOD messed up here? Absolutely not… this simply means that Protestant Churches are isolating one verse, taking it out of context, and presenting it as such so that their followers too can join in on the bashing. However, anyone who takes the time to really study the Bible, the Church Fathers, and the origins of Christianity… will only find that “all roads lead back to Rome”. So as Protestants continue to twist the verses, in isolation, they leave out the context that the Roman Caesars were "exalting themselves" to be worshipped, and attempting to make the verse work in their favor. more

Open Question: When making a Mcrsft Word template, how do you get text typed in one place to appear in other specified areas?

For example: I want to create a template that has a "Client name" field at the top, but also has other "client name" fields throughout the document. What I want to do is this: When I type a name into the first "client name" field, I want it to fill in all the other "client name" fields. Also, as having multiple clients in the client field would change the wording a bit I created drop down lists containing "his/her/them" to choose from. Is there a way to make it to where certain drop down lists will follow one that you change? Such as if I change the first drop down list to "her" consecutive specified boxes would immediately fill themselves in with "she" or "her" etc. Thanks in advance for any help. My secretary at work introduced me to her aunt. Her name was Cindy. We hit it off right away and became inseperable. After two months we became engaged and I was happier than ever. Then the red flags began to appear. Cindy had one failed relationship after another where she would move in with her boyfriend and after several months move out. cindy told me that it was always the boyfriends fault that the relationship did not work out.This happened on three seperate occasions. There was always underlying insecurities with cindy towards me because I worked with her neice who is very attractive. Cindy on more than one occasion would tell me that if you really want to date my niece you can because she is younger and prettier than i am. I am 47 and her niece is 24. cindy was also hooked on prescription pills; topomax,loratabs,and other meds and would not sleep at night without them. she became so insecure that she would check up on me if i did not call her at least twice a day. I finally could not take it anymore and when she accused me of seeing her niece again I finally asked her to leave. My problem now after three months is that I miss her very much and feel that i was overreacting by telling her to leave. I never gave cindy any reason not to trust me; i was loyal and faithful to her. i was only in one relationship before cindy and it lasted 26yrs.we have not spoken with each other since the breakup, but I have to deal with her niece everday at the office. Come to find out,one month after we broke up, cindy was engaged again.was it wrong of me to be so harsh with her or should i have consoled her and lived with the insecurities. any input will be appreciated.
